Protégé Dance Company is thrilled to announce the return of our Summer Intensives this August 2022.
Our Summer Intensives will be held over the course of two weeks only (August 8 - August 18) for dancers 6yrs & up.
Summer Registration opens: Thursday, May 5th.
Registration Fee: $10 Off Reg Fee when registered by Saturday, June 18th.
Family Discounts (when registered by June 18th):
2 Intensives: 5% discount before tax
3 or more Intensives: 10% discount before tax

SUMMER HEAT DANCE & ACRO INTENSIVE
The following intensives are designed for both the recreational and competitive dancer
who thrives on challenge. Beginner and experienced dancers are welcome to attend.
Summer Heat Dance Intensive (5 days)
Dates: Monday, August 8th – Friday, August 12th
Ages: 6-10yrs (Mini & Junior Divisions) (Recreational & Competitive)
Time: 9:00am-2:00pm
Classes in: Stretch, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop & Musical Theatre
Fees: $250 plus HST
Summer Heat Acro Intensive (5 days)
Dates: Monday, August 8th – Friday, August 12th
Ages: 6-12yrs (Mini, Junior & Pre-Inter Divisions) (Recreational & Competitive)
Time: 2:00-4:30pm
Classes in: Conditioning, Balances, Walkovers, Contortion, Flexibility, Tumbling Foundations
Fees: $185 plus HST
TUMBLE & TRICKS ACRO & SUMMER BLITZ
DANCE INTENSIVE
The following Intensives are designed for the serious and elite dancer who thrives on
challenge. A high level of technical proficiency is required to participate in these intensive, as guest teachers will move at a fast and intense pace. Not intended for the beginner dancer.
Tumble & Tricks Acro Intensive (4 days)
Dates: Monday, August 8th – Thursday, August 11th
Ages: 12yrs & up (Inter & Senior Divisions) (Competitive Acro ONLY)
Time: 6:00-9:00pm
Classes in: Conditioning, Balances, Walkovers, Contortion, Tumbling & Skill Variations
Fee: $175 plus HST
Summer Blitz Dance Intensive (4 days)
Dates: Monday, August 15th - Thursday, August18th
Ages: 10yrs & up (Pre-Inter, Inter, Part-Time & Senior Divisions) (Competitive)
Time: 9:30am-5:00pm
Classes in: Stretch, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Jumps & Turns, and Industry Q & A/Audition prep. Professional Guest Faculty - Award Winning Teachers & Choreographers.
Fee: $375 plus HST
Competitive Team: As per our competitive team policy, our summer Intensives are mandatory for the competitive dancer. Please use this CHART to assist you in understanding clearly what intensive(s) are designed for your dancer(s).
We need to emphasize the importance of keeping everyone safe. Safety begins at home, so if your child(ren) shows
COVID-19 symptoms PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME and isolate them until their symptoms are gone.
Symptoms include: fever, cough, shortness of breath, decrease or loss of smell or taste, sore throat, stuffy/runny nose, headache, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue and lethargy. In the case of the first four symptoms listed above, you are urged to contact a health care provider for further advice.
