Adult Program Level Descriptions

Absolute Beginner (Less than 2 years experience)
For dancers with little to no prior training. You’ll learn basic steps, terminology, and foundational technique at a comfortable pace.

Beginner/Intermediate (2–5 years or more experience)
For dancers who understand the basics and are ready to build on technique, combinations, and musicality. A mix of beginner and early-intermediate work.

FALL SESSION (TWO TERMS - 6 WEEKS EACH TERM)

Important - Make sure to register for the correct class! We cannot guarantee placement in another level if you sign up incorrectly.

2026 Fall Term Fees:

$40/Annual Registration Fee applicable.

45 minute class:
- $96 plus HST (6 weeks) Term 1 (Sept 14 - Oct 22)
- $96 plus HST (6 weeks) Term 2 (Nov 3 - Dec 8)
60 minute class:
- $112 plus HST (6 weeks) Term 1 (Sept 14 - Oct 22)
- $112 plus HST (6 weeks) Term 2 (Nov 3 - Dec 8)

2026 Fall Drop-In Rates:

Drop-In Fee: $25/class (45-min class)
Drop-In Fee: $30/class (60-min class)
Drop-In Fee: $35/class (75-min class)
- Annual Registration Fee not applicable.
- Priority given to those registered for the full term.
- Drop-in option will become available day of first class - if room permits.

Ballet & Tap Dance Attire:

Ballet attire (ie: bodysuit, tights, skirt and/or shoes) and Tap Shoes (to adult's liking) can be purchased from:

Adult Dance Classes

Class: Adult Ballet

Level: INTRO - Absolute Beginner

Tuesdays 7:45-8:45pm

Thursdays 8:00-9:00pm

Instructor: Victoria Cicinelli

INTRO - Absolute Beginner (Less than 2 years experience)

For dancers with little to no prior training. You’ll learn basic steps, terminology, and foundational technique at a comfortable pace.

Class Structure:

Traditional Ballet Barre. We'll start with the basics, teaching you proper posture, alignment, and fundamental ballet movements at the barre. We'll patiently guide and support you through each step, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in your abilities and understanding of ballet technique.

Class Attire:

Ballet attire and/or comfortable tight-fitting athletic wear. Ballet slippers, jazz shoes or socks permitted.

60 minute class:
- Term 1 (Sept 14 - Oct 22)
  - $112 plus HST (6 weeks)
- Term 2 (Nov 3 - Dec 8)
  - $112 plus HST (6 weeks)
Drop-In Fee: $30/class

Class: Adult Ballet

Level: Beg/Int

Tuesdays 8:45-9:45pm

Thursdays 9:00-10:00pm

Traditional Ballet Barre, Centre and Across the Floor.

With focus towards postural alignment and foundations to classical and traditional ballet technique, you're guaranteed to be inspired with the beauty and grace of ballet.

Class Attire:

Ballet attire and/or comfortable tight-fitting athletic wear. Ballet shoes are mandatory.

- 60 minute class:
  - Term 1 (Sept 14 - Oct 22)
    - $112 plus HST (6 weeks)
  - Term 2 (Nov 3 - Dec 8)
    - $112 plus HST (6 weeks)
- Drop-In Fee: $30/class

Class: Adult Tap

Levels: INTRO - Absolute Beginner (45-min) & Beg/Int (60-min)

Wednesdays 8:45-9:30pm

For dancers with little to no prior training. You’ll learn basic steps, terminology, and foundational technique at a comfortable pace.

Beginner/Intermediate (2–5 years or more experience)

For dancers who understand the basics and are ready to build on technique, combinations, and musicality. A mix of beginner and early-intermediate work.

Class Structure:

ach class begins with a traditional tap warm-up, focusing on ankle articulation before progressing through single and double sounds. From there, dancers move into skill development, both stationary and travelling across the floor.

At the 45-minute mark, our INTRO adult class concludes, while the BEG/INT adults continue with a fun, upbeat combination that brings together the skills learned throughout class.

The first 45 minutes are shared by both levels, with a foundational warm-up and technique exercises that are thoughtfully modified and layered for the Beg/Int adults, ensuring every participant feels appropriately challenged while building confidence at their own pace.

What to Wear:

Comfortable athletic wear that allows you to move freely. Tap shoes of your choice - whatever helps you feel confident and comfortable.
